autohop when watching ptat between hoppers

This has probably been mentioned, but I couldn't find it. If hopper 1 records ptat, and the next day I watch on hopper 2 I get the "use autohop question" but then the show doesn't autohop. Minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, but I was curious if that is how it is now and if a future software update will correct that. Thanks.
