Back after 6 month pause

Got my dish installed today at new house after 6 month pause. After the technician left it would freeze up and have to be restarted 5 or 6 times within a couple of hours. Also I couldn't change channels after an hour or 2. Is this normal for the first 24 hours or so ? It's a hopper2 with sling , a super Joey and a wireless Joey. Also I couldn't schedule any recordings and when I looked at scheduled recordings it just showed the days from back in December before we went on pause.

It does take several days for Hoppers to become fully functional. Give it time.

Question, why a H2 and not the H3? Especially with needing a SJ.

I do want a hopper 3 but need to get some recordings off my h2 and on to ehd first. Also I kinda wanna wait a little longer to give time for the h3 glitches to be fixed. When I went on pause the h3 wasn't out yet
