Saw the movie a zillion years ago (on SelecTV?). Back when it was new. It was great.
Saw the musical... with a good deal of special effect related delays. Wish they didn't make it a musical (other than the bedroom music sequence, that was great).
It was a really good movie, but maybe a little too 80s?
DVD is a "disc" as well.
Weirdly, we refer to blu-ray discs as Blu-rays... ie the misspelled thing that is scanning the disc. 4K blu-rays are just called 4K, which at least is the alleged resolution on the disc.

CDs have been discs since CD came out. Disks were the really floppy turn floppy turn rigid things you put in a drive.

I'm not proud of this but 40 years ago my life was a mess. I don't think I ever watched this movie all the way through. I only caught bits and pieces of it on cable TV.
Watched last night. Still a fun movie.
