Why can't I seem to post a new thread anywhere if i'm logged in? what section am I allowed to post? I don't get it.

I suspect you attempted to post to the classifieds. Please read the sticky at the top as that particular forum is only allowing postings by paying pub members. It is Scott's way of controlling some of the nasty spam we would get otherwise.

There are a couple of forums, like the PUB that are limited, but those are r/w restricted.

Anyway, welcome aboard. I hope you find the info here worthwhile.

Huh! It worked. I'll try to post again then. I hope I can remember how I did it. My screen name is certainly appropriate.
