perhaps time to 'massage' the DB and rebuild indexes ?

I haven't had this problem today. Usually when I do have a lag problem it is a result of some remote ad server and not the vBulletin server.

I had the same problem on one of my posts today.

Guys, there are a lot of info in logs on the servers - it would be easy to find such lags if you are a professional, I'm not telling about fixing it. It just a matter of responsibility for a maintenance, you doing it or not - any signal of such matter from your users should trigger the process.

Problem seemed to be a nameserver issue.
