hello
I have spent the past two days looking for the form to opt out of the binding ARBITRATION clause section 9 in the direct tv service agreement with very little luck I am hopping by chance you guys know where I can get that form. as I have yet to be able to find that form as well as the mailing address for that form

There is no opt out that I'm aware of. If you agree to the DIRECTV contract, then you agree to arbitration.

There is a form for this somewhere.

But why bother, unless your planning on suing Directv.

But then again, if your going to sue them I doubt not filling this form out will stop a lawsuit, as there are plenty of arguments you can make that you where not aware you had to opt out of arbitration.

For new customers yes. But if you already had service I don't think you can legally send out a notice like they did waiving your right to sue.

They would have to have you sign it when you renewed a contract.

Just sending a notice does not hold up very well in court.
