Yep. That's what the article says. iSuppli seems to back up what other trades like EGM are saying...the PS3 could be on its way back in the race in a big way. Hmm.

Moving consoles is good, hard to gauge success with only the top 10 titles in the NPD data and only 1 PS3 title present though. COD4 for the PS3 didnt crack the top 10 in December, so don't have numbers to compare it to there either unfortunately.

Sony has seen this argument and thrown out some fodder though:

PlayStation Network downloads exceeded 7.9 million in January 2008, well above the 6.6 million in December 2007.

In addition, it was noted that currently in North America there are more than 2.9 million registered PlayStation Network accounts and more than 52M total downloads life-to-date from PlayStation Store.

Activision also came out with a different view of the year:
