I have a full version of Windows 7 Home Premium, and it is installed on my desk top PC. Can I bootcamp the same copy on my Mac Book Pro? Or do I need to buy sepearate copy for the Mac?

If you want to stay legal - you have to buy a new license.

Only Virtual XP under Win7 (in the Windows world) can be installed without additional license...

Is it possible to install Virtual XP from the Win 7 disk to the mac, or do I need a full version of XP?
No.
The downloadable XP virtual machine will install (and not ask for activation) only under Win7.
It is not included on a standard Win7 OS disc.

In any other scenario (except for Windows Server OSs) you need a license for every physical/virtual installation.
