I can't wait for this to come out. I loved Da Ali G Show and Borat. I hope S.B.C. is able to make a film as Ali G.

I usually skip the theatres and wait for DVD, but I think I'm going to have to see this one when it comes out.

He already did.

The film is the first of three films based on Sacha Baron Cohen's characters from Da Ali G Show television show, the second film being Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and the third, entitled Brüno,
It came out in 2002, and was the first of the trio.

I know...it was scripted, though. :( I'd like to see Ali G in a mostly unscripted movie like Borat and Bruno. Unfortunately, I think he may be too well known now. I'm surprised he was able to pull off Bruno after the success of Borat.

Definitely in for this, the trailers look hilarious.

His appearance on the Tonight Show was gold too, this character looks hilarious even thought he wasn't the best on the Ali G show.

Saw him on Letterman earlier in the week as himself, not Bruno, which is a surprise because usually he's always in character promoting his movies. The mention of the Arkansas redneck cage match and the interview with an actual terrorist was pretty funny. Probably catch it on my Netflix list though.
