Buffalo Locals in HD

Any news when Buffalo will get locals in HD? CSR could not tell me.

I live in Syracuse. I get the locals in hd from an over the air antenna. If you have a tv with a built in hd tuner you will get the local in HD for free.
Here is an antenna from radio shack that would work.

I might just have to buy a new roof mounted OTA antenna, (currently using Terk indoor. cuts out allot) then I might be able to pull in some CA HD locals also. What is the best Omni OTA antenna (distance wise)??

California locals? I don't think so. I got one utica local NBC 2. Here is a link to a web site that tells you what channels you can get at your street address and what antenna you need.

Can be done. I pick it up from East Amherst with a Roof Mount Fringe Directional.

I had heard Buffalo would have them by the end of the year I thought. No current signs of the Rochester HD locals though but my antenna works just fine!
