It's for my elderly in-laws and you know if you in-laws are not happy, your wife is neither and... all married man would agree
Anyways, issue is, my in-laws just bought a condo on 8th floor and they want their south Asian channels. Building (16 floors) doesn't allow anything hanging out OR on the roof. I ordered dish kit from eBay (which is on the way) thinking I will install it in the balcony with cemented bucket. I used Dish Pointer app on my phone yesterday to see how dish will be pointed and guess what, dish points the building side instead of out!!! Now what?? The only other way is to install dish in their bedroom (inside) window pointing the satellite and run wire all the way to the living room and it would look all ugly!!
Any help is appreciated!

You should have sought help much earlier in the process.

To better understand what you're up against, what compass direction does the balcony face?

Understand that your goal is to aim at a single stationary (more or less) target that is located about 22,236 miles away. The signal can penetrate most clouds but not much else.

How close is the other building? The satellite is at a higher angle than the dish shows. Have you actually tried receiving from that satellite? You may very well find that the satellite is visible from above the roof of the adjacent building.

Seems like Charter is going acquire my local Comcast system

Rising pay-TV rates could play role in merger debates
