there on e-bay for 29.95 ... and if they didn't sell em anymore why would they lease em out ..now there pushing a hopper of some sort.. they were pushing the hopper DUO not so much anymore now there pushing the hopper with sling for bad credit accts i guess..

What is hopper duo? 722 is a duo; isn't hopper a solo-user box, that you have buy another box to run to for a 2nd user? Doesn't the new hopper do sling?

The hopper duo is a hopper with 2 tuners and you can add a joey to it.. pretty pointless if you ask me!!!i belive the 722 runs 2 t.v.'s with no mirror fee for each add room with DVR capabilites

if there sticking you with a leased 722 id'e call in and tell em it replaced an owned 722 and the replacement should be owned

Replacing an owned receiver means the new one is also owned

Hmmm after doing an internets search.. it's interesting to see everyone else wants anywhere from 135.00 to 150.00 smackers for the joey 4... we paid solid signals rate. funny how they quoted us 100.00 smackers as owned... one would figure the joey 3 would be 100.00 smackers

I don't think there is a difference in price to a dealer between a Joey3 and a Joey 4.
Think about it, If Dish is going to manufacture a Joey 4. why would they ,manufacture and sell a Joey3? Joey 4 simply replaced the Joey 3, price point remained the same as far as Dish was concerned

Joey 3's are either old inventory, or remanufactured which they are getting from customers who cancel or have repaired. They are cheaper since if they where the same price nobody would buy them
