Does anyone know if swept tested for 3 GHz RG6 cable is good for the DishPro? I know the manual says the cable should be rated at 950 to 2150 MHz. What is "swept tested"?

Higher the better.

"Swept tested" is a term used to indicate the cable can perform properly at the stated frequencies. It has to do with using a signal generator and spectrum analyzer, or equivalent testing equipment, to ensure the cable will git-r-done.

For RG-6, it's common to only quote the highest number - lower frequncies will work the same or better.

For DishPro the cable should be at least 2200 MHZ (2.2 GHZ). Anything above that is premium (gravy).

Anyway to get japanese channels?
