Anyone know how an HDTV with a cable card setup works in the areas with a/b lines? Buying a new TV that does have the cable card technology, but I know that the stupid system here in Dallas has the A line and a B line.

Also, does Dish or Direct have a cable card with their systems?

Thanks amigos!

Direct TV works with (Sony for example) companies to have a satellite card on the TV itself and the satellite tuner it's built in. I am using Cablecard now with Comcast on Union NJ and it totally sucks!!!! No program info and it takes 6 hours to change channel (I am exagerating of course). It's very slow... Oh and no pay per view or on demand also.

Forgot about the on demand qualities - that's a major killer for going with no box on this option. Back to the drawing board. This set (JVC 61" D-ILA doesn't have the dish or direct tuners in there...)

Thanks for y'alls thoughts!
