Can I recover program from 942 after 622 upgrade?

I got the 622 upgrade for my 942, but there are a couple of programs I'd like to view before sending it back. Is there a way I can do that. I plugged it into my TV and it just searches for a satellite.

I fgured if I reconnect everything, DISH will charge me for keeping it. I just want to see what is on the hard drive then I will send it back to DISH.

I was hoping I could just hit "play".

You would have to hook it back up to sat. If deactivated, you will not be charged for using it, but you do have a limited time to send receiver back.

I had my 622´s activated a week ago.

I just tonight finished several days of recording to DVD all the junk I had on my 942, which is off to the UPS store tomorrow.

When the receiver arrives at the ¨Searching for Satellite¨screen, just press the ¨DVR¨button. Then proceed as normal.

No Sat signal needed to view recorded stuff.
