Can I transfer timers from Hopper to new Hopper w/sling

I'm getting 2 new Hopper w/slings to replace 2 Hoppers. I have 2 questions for you experienced people.

I can transfer my recorded shows to my EHD (already on the system) and then transfer them back to the new Hopper, correct?

Is there a way to save the timers from the old Hoppers and put them on the new Hoppers w/sling? I thought there is something with the remotes but I don't know if I can do it with a new receiver. If this is possible can you tell me how to do it, please.

My install is scheduled for Sunday morning.

Yes. Use the wizrard to back up each Hopper to it's remote. The installer restored them for me. If you have any scanned ota stations from the dongle, they will also be restored.
