fist timer-couldn't find it under search. Can I use a dish 300 for the 105? If so what is the azimuth and elevation? I will use the 500 for 110 and 119. Also which switch will I need and is there any other tips that would be useful.

105 is a FSS satellite minimum size for reception is just under 1 meter the dish 300 is way to small and has a LNB for the wrong frequency range.

thanks........would it be too dificult to hook up a superdish

for tailgating. I have done it with a 500 many times. I know it can be done but do you think it would be worth the trouble and expense?

If it gets the programming you want then its worth it, a decent 30" dish costs around $85 shipped, you also need a ku LNB $25 shipped. But then there is so many other things you could use the dish for......like FTA programming : )

If I read this thread right, you want to have 105 "mobile" - like in the stadium parking lot.

If I'm right, I'm pessimistic - it's pretty tough to aim for 105.

Is 811 worth it?

Whatever happened to the "Free" Superdish??
