Can I use traditional dish vs tailgater for outdoor service?

Looking to add Dish Network Outdoors for $7 a month (w/ my existing home account) up at my cabin. Does anyone know if I can use a traditional, permanently mounted antenna (dish) versus having to using a "tailgater" domed antenna w/ the Wally receiver?

For a Wally in PA you would probably want a Dish 1000.2 with an Eastern Arc DishProPlus LNB.
