I just received my 522 installed by dish and it came with one UHF remote and one IR remote. I went on ebay and purchased a second UHF remote. Is there a way to use 1 UHF for TV1 and 1 UHF for TV2? Thanks!

I did receive a manual but it doesn't say anything about using 2 UHF remotes, just 1 of each. Thanks for the reply.

That feature was added after the manuals were printed. I know it's in there but I don't have a unit to look at right now so I couldn't tell you where. I've seen it mentioned in other threads here though, try doing a search.

Can't one just buy the little peice at the bottom that is green (UHF) to upgrade from the blue peice which is IR instead of the whole remote?

Nope. The green-tipped TV1 remote doesn't have the electronics in it to transmit UHF, only the TV2 remote does (they are different model numbers). However, the TV2 remote can be switched to infrared only. The blue plastic piece is 2-sided and when you reverse it to the green side, it flips a switch inside the remote.
