I think the only way you could accomplish this is: If your PC card has a coax out, you could output the signal on the coax and setup a channel 3 OTA analog channel and tune your 942 to channel 3 to record. I believe that would be your only option to get an external signal into a Dish PVR. I used to do this to watch my 501 on my 6000 from another room.
None of the satellite/DVR models will record an analog signal. But then that wasn't the original question.

Mark, looks like you would run the TV2 composite output and audio into the capture card. In single mode you can view the same thing on TV1 while it captures or in dual mode you can watch something else on TV1 while TV2 is sending to the PC.
