Cancel correctly?

Any tips from those who have done it on how to cancel the best way. I know about the ETF and the $15 fee to send back the receiver, anything else I should make sure to avoid?

Should I call or chat?

Is there any benefit to canceling on the last day of your cycle, or the first?

Tips would be appreciated as I've read a few bad experiences on this board.
