can't delete my post

I thought it was possible to delete your own posts if there haven't been any replies to them, but I couldn't find the delete option tonight. Has it gone away, or am I having a false memory?

Go to Edit Post, then Delete in lower right .

There is a time limit for such.

I tried to delete it shortly after I posted it, and I didn't see the delete option where I thought it used to be.

EDIT: I just tried it now and I see the delete option at the top of the page. I thought it used to be at the bottom. I still don't remember seeing it anywhere on the page when I tried last night, but maybe I was just too tired to notice.
