Can't delete one of my posts

I reposted an older story in the Blu-ray forum and realized it after I posted it. Then I went to delete it and I didn't have that option (only Save, Go Advanced, Cancel). So I thought maybe that capability was removed again.

Then today, I noticed when editing one of my posts, that the Delete option was there again between Go Advanced and Cancel.

Is something different in the Home Theater area compared to the other areas?

You only have a couple minutes after posting to delete it.

Ok, than that brings up another question. I still have the option to delete my last post in satguys folding thread. I made that post at 7:42 this morning

Ok you can't delete the first post of a thread.

You can delete additional posts to a thread but there is a time limit to doing this (I forget what it's set at)

Maybe thats the difference.

Sorry my brain is fried today, lots going on here at the office today.

The reason why you can't delete the first post (in case you wanted to know) if because if someone replys to your message and you delete the first post, the entire thread goes away deleting the replies that may have been made.
