Can't get NBA Finals on HD...

ABC was supposed to have the game in HD...I can pick up ABC OTA but can't get it in HD.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

oh, btw, I have an 811...

My reception is fine OTA ABC.
Did you program your reciever?

I thought I did...it has the signal for the local ABC and a sister station from Asheville NC.

Incidentally, I can get the PBS HD signal just fine OTA. Looks pretty good.

Do you have the ABC -DT and if so do you see anything?
Not the analog. if you have it it should show itself as Channel #-1.
In my area it is 06-1.

Yes I think so. I also switched from Component and DVI...same thing.

It's picked up as 56 around here and comes in 56-01 and 56-02

Perhaps your local ABC is having a problem.
I would reprogram my digital channels because it should remap to = your local ABC channel #. My local ABC is 6 but I find the DT signal at 42.Then it remaps to 06-1.

I already did that.

I was starting to think that my local ABC station isn't sending out HD in the first place.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

My local ABC, NBC and FOX only broadcast in digital (480?).
My local CBS is 24/7 HD feed while local PBS has about 5 broadcast in digital and 1 other channel in HD whenever there is HD content being broadcast.
