can't link to new avatar

I am trying to change my avatar by linking directly to an url with the avatar I want but I keep getting an invalid url message. What's up?

Here's the url I am putting in

My guess, the image size is over the limits.

I was thinking that size only matters when you are trying to upload an image, not when linking to an image, maybe I'm wrong, I guess I'll resize the image and try again

Well, I went ahead and just uploaded the avatar to satelliteguys, but I am still curious as to why I couldn't link to the avatar rather than uploading it. Maybe somebody can answer.

BTW... Auburn's offense was looking like crap during the first quarter, but they put in their freshman quarterback and looking much better now, too bad they didn't put him in last week...WAR EAGLE!

I am not home so I can't check, but if I had to guess I would say that the site the image is hosted at does not allow for hotlinking of images.

I have used fileden.com for hotlinking images on other websites, that is really the purpose of fileden.com.
