Cavalier C2

I use Cox cable for internet---reluctantly----and I have been told that I cannot get FIOS. A local telephone provider (Cavalier) is offereing something called C2 that it calims is faster than cable. Does anyone know what it is and how fast it is?

I did a little research. This seems to bean ADSL system I say that it seesm to be becauase they won't really answer the question when i ask. They just say that it si high sopeed internet. They do not have the greatest reputation over at broadbandreports. I thjink I will takea pass on this in spite of the claimed high download and uplaod speeds.
