One thing I would like to see is some sort of symbol that appears in the guide that would refer to a blackout. It used to be very obvious what would be blacked out (OOM MLB, NBA, NHL) but now with MLS, NCAA, and even random shows being blacked out, a symbol would help me not get my hopes up. On Dish they have the little "no smoking" slash that appears in the info. I would like to see something similar on Directv.
Yeah, a heads up to blackouts would be great.
I am personally hoping for a better HR34 software update. Using 0x547 is maddening because moving around in the guide is so sloppy and sluggish.

oh well....maybe soon the HR34 gets the minor bugs worked out
but until then I'll continue to record 5 things at the same time. Its kinda nice to record 4 baseball games and the hockey game yesterday
