The U has had a verbal from the SUPPOSED #1 recruit in the country, RB Bryce Brown. Unless I missed it, they are waiting for word on the #1 WR in Rueben Randle, who has been leaning heavily toward Miami...that would be HUGE!! I was sort of hoping they pick up another QB with Marve leaving. ALSO waiting for work on Orson Charles, the supposed #3 TE in the country.

Carolina can match Miami in the talent dept. Miami's problem was and still is no QB. It's been a while since you've had the likes of Jim Kelly, Bernie Kosar or Vinny at the U.No one had better TALENT than Miami in the ACC, they were just extremely young with a new coach.
Butch Davis is lining up a very strong class. Carolina was rated 3rd behind Ohio St and LSU coming into today.
And bad news Sabres, USC is contiuning to get the pick of the litter. They may get more 5 star players than anyone else in the country. I guess we will get to continue seeing the Song Girls in the Rose Bowl.

Picking up Nu'Keese Richardson out of Florida will help the Vols at WR.Arrrgh, TN just lost receiver Marlon Brown to Ohio State. This is looking like a bad day for me already.
Richardson, a Rivals100 prospect out of Pahokee (Fla.) High, seemed to be a perfect fit for Florida's offense when he committed in October. Richardson didn't show any signs of wavering until a last-weekend-before-NSD visit to Knoxville prompted rave reviews. Rumors emerged Wednesday morning that Richardson was considering postponing his decision, but he then ended up signing with Tennessee. Four-star athlete Marsalis Teague, from Paris (Tenn.) Henry County, was another Florida commitment who signed with the Vols on Signing Day.

Had Butch stayed at Miami, they would have won more titles. Coker basically fed off on Butch's players that he recruited.
Butch was the guy who convinced Bryant McKennie, Willis McGahee, and the late Sean Taylor to attend The U.
It's called the allure of the ever $$$$$$!! The Browns could not resist. People just don't realize that just because you can coach in college, you can coach in the PROs.
That is true, honestly, If it were me, I would never leave the college game. The way college coaches are paid these days, money would not be a HUGE issue for me. That coupled with the fact that I would coaching kids who would listen to me, vs a bunch of bitchy millionairs.
