change time of a recording on 6412

howdy, i have a motorola 6412 and am wondering how to set the exact time of a recording. I got a recording conflict when i tried to record a two shows at 9:00 and two at 10:00 because one of the shows was scheduled in the guide to end at 10:01. Is there a way i can go in and physically set the end time to 10:00 even though the guide has it ending at 10:01?

Hi Crippe,

Here's what you do: 1) Delete that show that the guide has running from 9:00 to 10:01PM (if it is a "season pass show and it conflicts only one time then temporarily remove it and reinstate it later when no conflict exists).

2) Hit the "menu" button on the remote.
3) On the next screen, using arrow keys, highlight "DVR" and hit select button.
4) On next screen, highlight and choose "DVR Schedule".
5) On the next screen, highlight and select "create manual recording".
(now you can manually set that show to end at 10:00 or even 9:58 instead of 10:01)
6)On the next screen you can set the "start time", the End time" (to the minute) and "date" using the arrow keys.
7) Next you "Confirm" your selection and;
8) On the next screen, you toggle down to choose the channel
9) After that you are prompted to confirm again (I believe).
