Changing Channel Package

I'm looking to downgrade my channel package to save money. I just have a standard defintion package.

I currently have Dish DVR Advantage Classic Silver 200. I was looking on the Dish Network website and I can't find anything else under Dish DVR Advantage.

Specifically, is there a Dish DVR Advantage Classic Bronze 100+ or a Dish DVR Advantage Classic Bronze 100?

Because the only thing I can find at the website is the package I'm currently on.

What you have is the lowest package under dvr advantage, you can reduce to a bronze but your bill will be increased by at the dvr fee.

DVR advantage is available on most packages for additional 10.00 a month,However you have to either call or go to online chat to adjust in your package.Usually what I do when going to chat is figure out the package you want and then specifically tell them what you are changing it to(For example you want to go down to the classic Bronze package with DVR advantage,also be specific by saying DVR advantage that includes locals)Ive had no problems doing it this way,be aware since your downgrading there will be a downgrade charge(5 dollars I think).I am constantly changing my package (Up and down)and still keep my DVR adavantage.

I had Bronze(Classic) with DVR advantage,DVR advantage is available for 10 dollars on all classic and HD packages.I has this package until recently and it was 34.99 plus 10.00 DVR adavantage and my bill was always about 50.00 a month including the 5.99 DHPP plan.You might just have to ask for offer.Unless they quit doing it in the last month or so it was available to me.

So if I just add $10 to each of the listed packages that's the DVR Advantage price right even though it's not specifically listed at the website?

Like:

Classic Bronze 100 is $34.99 plus $10.
Classic Bronze 100+ is $44.99 plus $10.
Classic Silver 200 is $47.99 plus $10 which is what is what I'm paying now.

Classic Bronze 100+ is only if you want your regional Sports and Locals,but if you arent really into sports the Locals will come with the DVR advantage package anyway.
Let me know if you decide to change package and if DVR advantage still available on this package,like I said before it was a few months ago that I had this package.If you get a CSR that says no ,try another CSR(some just dont want to go thru the trouble)

Let me know if you decide to change package and if DVR advantage still available on this package,like I said before it was a few months ago that I had this package.If you get a CSR that says no ,try another CSR(some just dont want to go thru the trouble)

Hi Andy. I just did it. I waited till today since today's the last day of my monthly billing period. I went down to Classic Bronze 100 with DVR Advantage. I asked the CSR twice if I could still get DVR Advantage and he said yeah. My receiver shows the changes already but I just logged onto my account on the website and it's still not showing the changes so I guess it's a little slower there.

Anyways, quick question, I can change my programming as many times as I want right, as long as I pay the $5 downgrade fee each time?

There is no fee charged if you add programing or take off something and add some other of at least the same monthly fee. Going to a lower priced package will incur the $5 downgrade fee.
