Changing inputs with Wally remote

I have the dark black remote which came with my Wally receiver. I have the TV & DVD player all completed with the leaning process but for whatever reason the remote will not switch or "learn" to switch inputs without me physically going to the tube and changing it from there. How do others get beyond this? Can anyone help? Thanks

go to the remote icon in the menu and turn limited mode off.

I was able to make that work @ my brothers house by going into the remote settings and using the learning tools to pick a button on the remote and have it learn the "input" button from the TVs original remote. Sounds like you may have tried that route already, but that is how I got it to work. Admittedly, this was on a Joey in a Hopper system, so not sure if the Wally has the same options, even with the same UI.
