Channel switch then snow, no picture?

A few times over the last week or so I have noticed a problem when switching channels. The screen goes to snow as if there is no picture feed to the tv. The first time this happened, the STB appeared to lock up. All we had was a snowy picture, no sound and the had to unplug to get things working again. My wife has seen it happen once before but did not require unplug. I saw it last night while trying to change the channel via the up/down channel button on my remote. Not sure what I did but the picture and sound came back within a 2-5 seconds.

I've never seen this problem before and would like to know if anyone else has seen it or if there is documentation of this problem.

Re: [VOOM] Channel switch then snow, no picture?

The only time I saw this when I had VOOM was when I changed the output
resolution from default to some set value. I don't remember anymore how this
was accomplished (button behind a panel on front?), but I know changing the
value changed which orange bars lit up on the front.

Hope that makes sense... if not - I know there are people on this list that
can explain it better. Good luck.
