30 team specific MLB.TV channels are now testing on the streaming server in the same range used for the NBA League Pass Premium channels. So it looks like streaming customers might be able to subscribe to MLB.tv via DIRECTV this season.

They're going to be actual channels similar to the NBA League Pass Premium feeds on streaming channels 1200-1245

I have it too as an Entertainment customer.
Interesting that I had to reboot my DirecTV streaming box to see the channels....yet they were there as it recorded the MN Twins game automatically (I have a series timer from last year to record the game on a local channel). The Twins game started at 2pm and I rebooted the box around 4:30 to get the channels in the guide.

They're testing post-Fan Duel shutdown streams of YES and YES National on the streaming server, instead of the current streams that are hubbed with the other hyperlocal Fan Duel feeds. The new streams are 1080 with 5.1 audio like YES is on satellite, the hubbed streams are 720 with stereo audio.

The new national feed has a "Program not Available in your Area" slate during blacked out Yankees and Nets programming instead of filler from the Fan Duel base feed:

They don't give networks dedicated 4K channels on sat or stream.

If YES were to offer 4K broadcasts and DTV had a deal to carry them, those games would just be part of the schedule on LIVE4K channels 105-108 like they do for the 4K broadcasts from FOX Sports, NBC Sports, ESPN, NESN, CHSN and Spectrum Sportsnet.

The World Cup is just 2 months away and DTV Stream still has not added Telemundo in their add-on Latino package. Telemundo is carrying every game live.... Satellite DirecTV does carry Telemundo in all their Latino packages (Channel 406).... Any reason why DTV Stream does not (and skips over Channel 406) ?

BTW where I live there is no Telemundo OTA affiliate (Port St. Lucie, Florida). Otherwise I'd go there.

NBCU considers the West Palm Beach market "served" by Telemundo Miami's 51.4 subchannel, which has alternate ads targetting West Palm Beach and cable carriage in the DMA, but no sat carriage and an OTA signal that doesn't reach north of West Palm Beach.

Thanks, Kyl416, I had no idea this was the reason.... A totally short-sighted decision by either NBC or DTV Stream given that the other 2 big streamers carry Telemundo up here: You Tube TV and Hulu Live. The national feed that is. They're going to clean up during the World Cup.

Hard to understand why DTV Stream's contract for Telemundo would be subject to WPB market being "served" by OTA but yet the other 2 streamers are being exempted from this criteria.
