Channels on DIRECTV Satellite and not on Stream/Internet

Since all these Telemundo additions are local stations they would presumably be available in the basic lowest priced English package as part of the local channels line-up.
As indicated in the Insider link in post #187, more than 90 of these feeds will be a "national" feed.

Portland, OR, is supposed to be represented by the local affiliate (KJYY), but it doesn't seem to be one of the nine HD channels that currently share a single spotbeam transponder for the Portland market.

The Telemundo additions are only for streaming customers as they couldn't provide the national feed to streaming customers in markets with a local OTA affiliate. On cable, Spectrum was also forced to drop the national Telemundo feed in cities where Gray recently launched their new LPTV affiliates.

Satellite is different as local carriage is covered by different laws so the national Telemundo feeds co-exist with the local stations, including the 3rd party affiliates they already carry in New Orleans, Bakersfield, Amarillo, Atlanta and some other cities.

How about getting My network tv added to more markets.
That's more owner dependent and not network dependent after MyNetworkTV converted to a syndicated programming service and many of their stations, including the FOX O&Os now delay it to late night in favor of primetime news and local sports. It also no longer has clearance in Boston and Miami after CBS's secondary stations dropped it in 2022.

They already have FOX, Sinclair, Gray, most of Nexstar, and some smaller operators. They don't have Tegna outside of Denver's KTVD after it picked up exclusive Avalanche and Nuggets games. Detroit's WADL is missing too, but mainly because Adell is using free must carry status to get on satellite, which doesn't extend to streaming. They are also missing Hubbard and some others.

I wouldn't expect any additional Nexstar or Tegna ones until all of the lawsuits finish making their way through the courts. They even dropped Tegna's KFMB-D2 from both satellite and streaming after Nexstar prematurely moved its CW affiliation to KUSI prior to the injuction, even though their CW affiliation agreement wasn't going to expire until September, and it still has MyNetworkTV, syndicated exclusives and additional newscasts that compete directly with Nexstar's KSWB and KUSI.

Is this just on satellite. I'm on Directv stream. Not seeing WTGC Greenville NC.
Or is it just on the Spanish packages.

The insider article about the expansion only mentioned the Spanish package. The local carriage laws that require all of them to be part of the same package on satellite doesn't apply to streaming, so they can cherry pick which stations they carry and how they are packaged.

NBCU doesn't allow them to offer Telemundo's national feed to streaming customers in markets where there's a 3rd party OTA station, even if it's a LPTV signal that most of the market can't receive over the air, so they are adding them to stream in time for the World Cup. On satellite the national feed is allowed to co-exist, and outside of some markets like Atlanta and Laredo, they only carry the full power .1 affiliates. None of the additional affiliates have been added to satellite, and sat customers still can't stream their local Telemundo, Univision, UniMas, CW or MyNet stations, outside of the ones that have exclusive local NHL or NBA rights like WRBW Orlando and KTVD Denver.

The Telemundo here is low power and can't pick it up over the air. Would think they would add to all packages.
