Charter CT adding channels

Charter in Ct is adding WFSB(CBS) and UniversalHD on February 10th. These are confirmed by letters Charter sent to state dpuc.

Charter is getting SCARY!!

Got a telephone call today telling me that we now are going to get YES HD!! Holy smokes! If they add Sports Net NY, I may cancel my satellites!

Here's what we get for HDTV now:

772 YES
773 ESPN
774 NESN
775 Discovery
777 HBO
778 SHO
779 Cinemax
780 WB
782 PBS
783 CBS
785 NBC
786 FOX
790 Starz
795 UniversalHD
797 TNT

They need to add ESPN2, SportsNet NY, ABC-HD, and we're in pretty good shape!

Where are you that you get WB on channel 780? In Newtown CT it isnt there.

I am in Eastern CT. We get WTXX in HD here, on channel 720. I think we are called the "Ashford Rebuild".

BTW - Despite the phone call informing me about YES-HD on 772, it has yet to appear.

YesHD is only going to be on the western CT system. Have to find out why we don't get WTXX.

Hmm. I wonder why I got the automated phone call? I thought it was strange, as we do not get YES on an SD channel. Must have been a screw up.

Doesn't matter to me, as I have DirectTV and Dish - so I get YES and SNY.
