Cablevision is raising prices.
I'm looking at DirecTV and Echostar as an alternative,
but I'm also considering just living on OTA-high def with a TIVO.

With that said, what would be my cheapest way to get HBO, not counting just recording my favorite shows at someone else's house?

Expect everyone to raise prices it happens every year and yet people are still surprised... I dont think you can get HBO by itself... But it usally costs anywhere from 9.95 to 14.95 depending on your provider.

if you just want hbo by itself. You'll either have to get a Big Cband dish and a 4dtv receiver or you can check out this brand new little dish service. But you may have to take MAX with HBO. I don't know? But it appears that way from the web page.
