Chicago HD locals not on CONUS? Is "The List" wrong?

The Lists shows the MPEG4 HD Locals for Chicago at 110, transponder 17. I get a solid lock there w/ signal strength of 56.

However when I go to one of the Chicago locals in my guide it briefly shows the acquiring signal screen trying to get transponder 22 and then gives the "Sorry for the Interruption" screen.

Any ideas?

Crap...

Are there any Central time locals in HD that are on CONUS? Here in Plainville, KS my options for others that are spot beamed are pretty slim it seems...

FYI.. a human doesn't update the DishNetwork and BellTV sides of TheList, it's all driven by what DishNetwork puts in the tables.

You'll need a Dish1000+ and I believe you'll also need a DishPro Plus 44 switch. It can get pricey.

Where will you be located that needs HD locals?

Going by your location on your profile there are these two markets. Not sure if you can get any other beams. Check your signals on 129 TP 1-16.

SatelliteGuys.US - Subscription 129°W

I wouldn't count on the St Louis HD locals being ton 118.7 long term either. As they are on 61.5 and 129. I'm suprised they are still there and haven't been removed yet.

Looks like Lincoln, NE is the winner for me. I am getting 55 on the spot beam it is on :)

Thanks.
