yes it will. As long as the receiver has power to it (even in standby) it will work.

I didnt think that needed power

I used to use it for OTA HD local channels before and it worked fine for that purpose. It was sitting around a dual LNB DTV dish.

Well, I am guessing that the internal amp needs some power.

I used one for years on my DirecPC dish and then my 90cm dish, apart from the slightly extra weight it will not change any of your FTA signals!

They work great for me! I get channels from Rochester MN. and I am in the metro area!

I tried one of those and it worked slightly better than my amplified rabbit ears.
