Any idea why Dish does not carry CNBC World? It looks like the only NBC Universal news channel we do not have.

They used to carry it, but it was removed years ago. I remember when it launched on Dish, I think it was on channel 207. Probably cost too much $$$.

umm probably look on some of the other cable companies systems and see if they do carry it or carry the station as a part of their cable tiers/channel packages usually they do provide it.

Direct has it. I have the CNBC app and CNBC World does not seem to be included. The CNN app does stream CNN. HD News, as well as CNN International.

It's a nice channel. I watch a lot of it's world and business news. My only peeve - It is a little blurry or grainy on DIRECTV. I don't know what is up with the resolution of the channel. Maybe that is the way the channel is beamed from the sky to our satellites. Any thoughts or comments from DIRECTV customers? How does the channel look to you?

This is the DISH forum. You'd probably get your questions answered better in the DirecTV forum.

In any case, it doesn't look like I'll get it, unless CNBC adds CNBC World to its app. Anything I presume is possible.

I wouldn't hold my breath for Dish to carry CNBC World. That is unless CNBC will pay Dish to carry it, which is highly unlikely. I think you would like One America News more. It is an excellent news outlet during the day, with political commentary at night. I find that I watch it much more often than BBC World News, which has a liberal slant.

With the Roku, I have access to 24France, DWTV, etc. But CNBC World sounds interesting. Who knows? It may show up somewhere streaming in a package.
