CNNfn to shut down

no wonder, how did they think they could compete with CNBC? Most cable systems carry CNNfn on the digital tier, while CNBC is carried on basic analog cable (which many more people subscribe to) alongside the other news networks.

A bit one-sided in their reporting like CNN and HLN but also compeating with Bloomburg and one other I think. As well as CNBC like you mentioned.

In terms of financial news, what one side would they be leaning toward? I'm not too familiar with the financial world so I don't know what 'sides' there are out there to pick from.

Bulls vs. Bears :D :D :D

People have lost too much money in the stock market and this move only reflects investor sentiment. The stockmarket is now no different than a casino.

IMHO, Short Term fixed income and Ownership of real property will build wealth steadily.

So will D* or E* stop carrying CNN International (this channel is half-CNNfn, half-CNNI)?

CNNfn never had good viewership. Headline News is fine the way it is (just wish they wouldnt have commericals).

I love CNN Today, especially like Richard Quest's style and jokes. I hope they'll move to the main channel. CNN Headlines wasn't too interesting, I agree though.
What else left on Voom, for me? NBCs and that's it, everything else is retarded. (My OTA reception is completely screwed up since the beginning and Voom just keep promising...)
I really miss my old NWI news programs from DirecTV... :no
