College Football Week 2

Miami-Florida is where Gameday's going?

Yeesh.

Not only will it be onesided, but it'll be nothing but an entire day of Tebow butt-kissing.

Just to name a few:

Ohio-Ohio St.
Marshall-Wisconsin
Central Michigan-Georgia
Cincinnati-Oklahoma
West Virginia-East Carolina (I think this is a pretty good game)
Troy-LSU
Texas-UTEP
Tulane-Alabama

All in all, not a good schedule. Week three is when things get rolling with the conference matchups and the monster Ohio St.-USC game.

hey matt, what's the deal with the georgia game on fsn south? i thought ppv was the only option after raycom.

I think the exception here is that it is an open window. Neither CBS nor ESPN decided to take a game at this time, so FSN is allowed to fill in the blank.

When I asked about how SMU-Texas Tech could be televised by FSN Southwest instead of being on PPV (see week three), that was the explanation I got from the Big 12 office. Neither FSN nor ABC selected the game and they left the evening telecast window open, so the regional network could arrange for a telecast.

The FSN South telecast should be blacked out outside of the nine state SEC territory, but we'll see.

OSU vs. Ohio University holds a special place in my families heart....

I am a die hard Buckeyes fan as you all know. My wife is a graduate of Ohio University. Even though she knows the Bobcats don't stand a chance next week, our house will be divided come Saturday.

After Fresno St produced Trent Dilfer and David Carr I hope that no NFL scouts bother to watch this game.

Then those scouts would look as foolish as you do with your statement. Here's the current NFL players from Fresno St.

Fresno State
Bernard Berrian Wide Receiver Minnesota Vikings
David Carr Quarterback New York Giants
Tyrone Culver Defensive Back Green Bay Packers
Chris Denman Offensive Tackle Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Therrian Fontenot Defensive Back Philadelphia Eagles
Adam Jennings Wide Receiver Atlanta Falcons
Louis Leonard Defensive Tackle Cleveland Browns
Logan Mankins Guard New England Patriots
Richard Marshall Cornerback Carolina Panthers
Marcus McCauley Cornerback Minnesota Vikings
Lorenzo Neal Fullback Baltimore Ravens
Michael Pittman Running Back Denver Broncos
Marcus Riley Linebacker St. Louis Rams
Bryan Robinson Defensive End Arizona Cardinals
James Sanders Safety New England Patriots
Jason Shirley Defensive Tackle Cincinnati Bengals
Clifton Smith Running Back Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Stephen Spach Tight End New England Patriots
Billy Volek Quarterback San Diego Chargers
Sam Williams Linebacker Oakland Raiders
Paul Williams Wide Receiver Tennessee Titans
Cameron Worrell Safety New York Jets
Dwayne Wright Running Back Buffalo Bills

They're all making a living in the NFL. And Dilfer managed to be the QB for a Super Bowl champ (note that I didn't say he won it for them).

Matt - FYI - Michigan State game is in HD. Iowa is not. :) Satellite feeds confirm.

Florida International at Iowa Big Ten 12pm
