Never heard of cackle berries but glad I just did hi hi.

Here's another: hoagie, grinder, hero, wedge - all mean the same thing depending on where you are from.

You forgot the one where I came from: submarine sandwich.

Here's a couple that my dear old dad (born in Canada) used to say: antigoglin and cattywampus. Both mean "diagonally across from".
 
Hadn’t heard the first one, but in speaking terms with the second.

So, how about a few Russian versions, assuming they translate ok?
