Looked at the uplink activity but did not see it. The "list" shows that Colorado spot beamis 30 on 110W. Will I don't get that and when looking at the channels and doing a check signal shows 12 on 110. Did they move this spot beam. For 8205 up to 8215

You don't say where in Colorado. There are 4 markets, each with its own spot beam as follows:

Denver - 12S30 (Main stations on national beam including KWGN and HD)

Colorado Springs - 4S30

Grand Junction - 26S34

Albuquerque - 27S31

Actually someone posted a link the other day that lead there...

Sorry talking about Denver channels. The list says that they are on spotbeam 30. Well my unit doesn't show spotbeam 30. It goes from 29 to 31. Now when I look at like KDVR and go to system setup it shows spotbeam 12. Did they move these. And I tried opening them up but haven't forced it yet. But looking at the map it says 12S30. Does that mean transponder 12 spotbeam 30? If so that makes more since.

You're mixing spotbeams with transponders. There are multiple transponders in each spotbeam number.

What channels are you looking for and what are you trying to accomplish?

Yeah I feel stupid now, didn't look at the list very well and see that TP was 12, so by not reading the english that was on my computer went o try and find TP 30 which isn't there.

So I still feel stupid. But on TP 12 I am getting around 50 on the strength so everything is good I think.

Thanks

Sorry. I did test the links before posting, and did it again afterwards. Apparently, as long as the main transponder page is in your immediate history queue it works.

Talk about paranoia. I thought the idea was to provide help, and I thought I was doing the right thing by linking his site and giving credit, rather than ripping off the gifs and attaching them here.

Oh and NMFireDog, don't feel stupid. This stuff isn't obvious, and the reason I posted those maps is because it took me forever to figure out how to navigate this stuff. I think we may need to simplify this some. I will work on it.

A list of all the cities that are offered with their channels and then a link directly to the spotbeam for that market would be handy.

Does one exist?

Is DENVER KWGN - CW 2 in HD yet? I'm in Cheyenne and they block all the other Denver networks here because of stupid non-competition stuff. So all of us are stuck with our crappy wyoming/Nebraska locals, that I assume will never go HD in my lifetime. So KWGN is the only Denver station we can get here and my only hope for a "network" HD channel.

No it is not in HD yet. I am suprised because it is where they are located.
