I have a second home with a Dish 500 Twin dish which uses a Terk splitter to add OTA signals from from a Terk 55 amplified antenna. I use splitters again at the receivers (301 and 501) to split the OTA signal from the Dish signal. This seems to work pretty well. I plan to upgrade this setup by replacing current dish with a Dish 1000.2 and replace the 301 receiver with a VIP612. I will continue to use the 501. Are there any issues with this setup?

Use my terk 44 with my 1000.2 sat dish just fine for the last few years and with my new dish 1000.4 sat dish for eastern arc. NO PROBLEMS at all. They work great if you live within 25miles from your broadcast towers.
