Coolsat 5000, add satellite?

Just wondering if there is a way to add IA8 @ 89.00* west to the satellite list on the Coolsat 5000. I have played with the menu and looked in the manual and do not see the procedure. Am I missing something here?

IA8 is not logged in the box. Go to dish setup, scroll to bottom and add it. There are 2 blank satellites. To get it to say the right spot (89.0W) after you save it, go to motorized, select USALS and put it in. Even if you use 1.2 (like I do), set it up for USALS, save it, then change to 1.2

It will store it as 89.0W

or you can use Channelmaster (see the FAQ area) to add it and put them in order by satellite.

I`ve had this same question for some time. If it`s in the CoolSat manual, I sure haven`t been able to find it............

Ice, thanks, your procedure worked for adding the satellite. Now I guess I have to download Channelmaster to re-do the satellite order list. IA8 is all the way at the bottom of the list which is a little quirky.

on ChannelMaster you can add more. I think to move it up and down is
click on satellite
hold down ctrl and press up or down arrow to move
