Coolsat Website Firmware

Before the Coolsat website became unavailable, what was the latest firmware that was available, specifically for the Coolsat 6000?

My system info says S/W Version: 1.00 Mar 08 2006

Does anyone have any firmware files and do they add any functionality or help with efficiency?

1.00 was the only factory file that was offered for the Coolsat 6000.

FTAFirmware for Coolsat has Coolsat 5000 & 6000 third party firmware created specifically for FTA.

Okay, thanks! Sounds like some good updated features. Does anybody have any feedback with using these or any other third part firmware?

I use that 3rd party (approved here) firmware in 2 of my 3 Coolsats with no issues (FYI the 3rd one is my main receiver and I dont wanna mess with it.)

adds & mainly fixes a couple things (AC-3 audio is the big one...actually works on all channels now)
