I know many of us are in the habit of telling people that if they have a DVB-S STB they will be fine on 97W. Although this is technically true, I wanted to point out that there are a few stations now broadcasting in Dolby Digital (and one exclusively doing so). Therefore, without the proper S/PDIF output cable and external audio converter or capable device, they won't be able to get sound on the one channel in particular. I discovered this the hard way after parking my brother's dish on 97W, thinking my Traxis 3500 would do fine. It did, but the one channel his wife really wanted was exclusively transmitting in Dolby Digital ...so I reconnected the Openbox. Easier fix. Getting Dolby Digital to process might be confusing for a lot of newbies, so I think the proper answer for them at this point is probably, "you will be fine receiving -most- channels on 97W with a DVB-S receiver."
