In your Hopper do you have PTAT enabled? If so, does Auto Hop work?

Yes I do and it still works the next day with auto skip on my ABC and NBC station. The CBS and Fox stations take a few days more before they get auto skip.

You have to subscribe to locals for PTAT to work. Is there anything worth watching though?

It does work on my unactivated Hopper with my ota channels and auto skip then next day. At least on two of my networks NBC and ABC, but CBS and Fox take much longer before auto skip kicks in. But that is something that the networks worked out with DISH.

Yup; that is true. You can turn on PTAT but without a sub to locals, nothing is recorded except for timers you set on OTA channels. Then autohop will work (unless something changed since last I used it).

Interesting... Cox sold KIRO 7 to Apollo Management Group, which may get sold yet again to Imagicomm Entertainment (an affiliate of INSP). Did some research and it wasn't difficult to find the info. Doesn't mean it'll show up on Dish again though...
