Cubs sign LaTroy Hawkins

Just seen on ESPN the Cubs have signed Hawkins away from the Twins. This help bolster the pen of the Cubs and we are seeing them inch closer the the powerhouse of the national League. I wouldnt be suprised to see Hawkins close and Borowski and Remlinger set up thats a great pick up for the Cubbies. :thumbsup:

Have you seen Hawkins pitch the last 2 years?? He was the Twins closer and lost that job, then was setup man and lost that job. He gives up too many runs. The twins were smart and used him for a while to get out one man or in blowouts.
