current dish OK???

I just purchased a new HR22 Series HD DVR. Will this work with my current dish? It is a triple LNB WNC.

If not what are my options? Thnks.

Yes it will "work" your limitation is you won't get high definition programming so there would be no advantage to spending money for the HR22.

Slimline 3 or 5 LNB. Call D* they might be the most economical source.

When you attempt to activate the HR22, they will set you up with an appointment to install the necessary equipment.

Bear in mind that you have 30 days to get the installation done or it will cost you.

Depending on where you "bought" the HR22, you may or may not actually own it and you'll likely be subject to a 24 month minimum programming commitment either way.

ok..thanks. I am going to use this dish for now and have a slimline on order.

I think I just need to run 1 RJ6 from the WNC to the HR-22. Is that correct or is a duplexer needed?

Isn't a RJ6 a telephone connection and what does a duplexer have to do with telephones?
